List reveals young companies that have remained resilient during Covid-19

ADVANCE.AI, a leading big data and AI company in Asia helping to solve digital transformation, fraud prevention, and process automation for clients and consumers, has been named a LinkedIn Top 10 Startups Singapore 2020. The debt Singapore
list ‘reflects 10 companies that have remained resilient during a tumultuous time, continuing to attract investment, employees and attention.’

LinkedIn’s editors and data scientists parsed millions of actions generated by the social media network’s more than 2 million members in Singapore — and looked across four pillars: employee growth; jobseeker interest; member engagement with the company and its
employees; and how well these startups pulled talent from the LinkedIn Top Companies list. To be eligible, companies must be 7 years old or younger, have at least 50 employees, be privately held, and headquartered in Singapore.

ADVANCE.AI’s headcount is now more than 1,000. The company was founded in 2016. Its most common skills include SQL, finance, and artificial intelligence (AI). Its largest job functions are in engineering, business development, and human resources. The company recently expanded to India with offices in Bengaluru and Delhi. It is also riding a wave of young shoppers as a result of the pandemic, with one of its services under the Atome brand offered to retailers being instalment plans for online retail spending.
