European fintech FinXP has appointed Antoine Scerri as its new chief technology officer (CTO).

Scerri, with an extensive background in IT and a Master’s Degree in artificial intelligence, brings three decades of experience to the role. His promotion underscores FinXP's commitment to advancing technological solutions and services.

Carmelo Romano, the former CTO, has transitioned to a consultative role within the company, continuing to offer his expertise at least until his retirement date in July 2024. Romano has been instrumental in developing FinXP’s robust IT infrastructure and in establishing a scalable international IT department, laying a solid foundation for the company’s future endeavours.
